First Licensed in 97, I have worked with all ages, and see adults 18-an up. Welcome to Good Enough Counseling! Our name draws inspiration from psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott, who introduced the concept of the "Good Enough Mother." Winnicott emphasized that parenting doesn't need to be perfect to foster healthy, resilient individuals; being "good enough" is genuinely sufficient. Help in sorting out the good.enough from what needs to be changed. At Good Enough Counseling, we embrace this philosophy. Therapy here isn't about attaining perfection or chasing flawless solutions. Instead, it's about guiding you toward meaningful, realistic progress, helping you recognize and appreciate your inherent worth. We believe your authentic self—imperfect, growing, and uniquely you—is more than "good enough." Our goal is to empower you to find direction, strength, and confidence in your everyday life, recognizing that true growth comes from embracing and understanding yourself as you are. Last year I got certified in trauma work, CCPT-2. September 2025 I attend in person a conference of one of my heroes, Nancy McWilliams PhD, ABPP, :' Working with Grief, Depression, and Masochism".
